Are you retiring before your Dutch state pension (AOW) starts? You can use part of your pension to bridge the gap and compensate for the lack of AOW. Fully or partly. You cannot opt for this if your retirement has already started.

ING CDC Pensioenfonds’ funding ratios as at 31 January 2022 are known. The funding ratio is 122% and the policy funding ratio is 123%.

ING CDC Pensioenfondsen is going to start dispatching pension letters again, as we now have more clarity on the ‘lump-sum withdrawal’. The new starting date of this option has now been tentatively set for 1 January 2024.

The introduction of the lump-sum withdrawal is being postponed by at least six months. The provisional new date is 1 January 2024.

With effect from 1 January 2023, pensions for ING's employees, former employees and pensioners have been increased. The pension fund is granting as much indexation as possible. That’s good news.

On 22 December 2022, a majority in the Lower House of Parliament voted in favour of the Future of Pensions Act. The vote did not lead to major changes of the bill.

By the end of January 2023, you will receive a payment specification from ING CDC Pensioenfonds, showing a breakdown of the monthly payments the pension fund will pay out to you. If you were already receiving pension benefits in 2022, you will also receive an annual summary which you can use for your tax return.
