Soon it will be time to vote again - for the Dutch House of Representatives. But if you’re employed by ING, you also have the opportunity to vote for your representative in the accountability body of our pension fund. Four candidates are running. The elections will take place from 3 to 17 November.
Our board reports to the accountability body, which monitors whether the board makes sound policy decisions and balances all interests appropriately. Its assessment is published in our annual report. The accountability body also has advisory rights, for example regarding communication strategy and the complaints procedure.
This matters—because it concerns your future income. With a new pension scheme coming no later than 2028, the role of the accountability body is more important than ever. That’s why we encourage you to take part in these elections. Read each candidate’s motivation and cast your vote.
