On 28 January 2020, Karin Berns was appointed as a member of the managing board of ING CDC Pensioenfonds. Karin’s areas of focus will be pension, communications and governance. She will also be a member of the complaints and disputes committee.

On International Women's Day (March 8), attention is drawn annually for issues such as the economic independence of women. Even though increased employment of women, they still receive considerably lower pensions than men.

The financial results of the fourth quarter of 2019 are available. The total return on investment was -4.3%. Compared to the third quarter, the funding ratio increased from 102% to 105%. The policy funding ratio decreased from 110% to 107%.
