The summer edition of ING CDC Pensioenfonds’ digital newsletter ‘Special’ has been published. The Special reports on the recovery plan, being ill or incapacitated for work, Pension Fund Academy and frequently asked questions like ‘is a part-time job tax inefficient, in terms of pension?’.

Sandra van Eijk has been appointed a member of the managing board of NN CDC Pensioenfonds and ING CDC Pensioenfonds, effective 15 June 2017. Sandra is CFO of NN Bank. Her appointment brings the composition of the joint managing board of the CDC pension funds to 7 men and 2 women.

NG CDC Pensioenfonds’ funding ratios as at 30 June 2017 are known. The funding ratio is 114% and the policy funding ratio is 107%.

ING CDC Pensioenfonds publishes quarterly reports on its website, providing information on the fund’s financial position, its investments, its communications and its management decisions during the reported quarter.

ING CDC Pensioenfonds’ Annual Report for 2016 summarises a period during which the pension fund’s (policy) funding ratio declined, its investment policy was reviewed and its governance structure was modified.

ING CDC Pensioenfonds has updated its recovery plan. This needs to be done once a year in order to determine whether the pension fund’s recovery is still on track. Conclusion: your pension fund expects to recover within ten years without having to take additional measures.

The funding ratio indicates whether the fund’s financial position on a certain reference date is adequate enough to pay out pensions accrued now and in the future.
