Plenty of choices during Pension3Days

A one-on-one chat about your pension, a workshop or a luncheon ‘The future of you’ for young employees. During the 2018 Pension3Days event (6-8 November), employees of ING can get a better insight into their pension.

During the 2018 Pension3Days event from 6-8 November ING, ING CDC Pensioenfonds and Pensioenfonds ING are organising various activities in Amsterdam to provide you with a better insight into your pension. Have you always postponed when it comes to really thinking about your pension? But are you nevertheless curious to know where you stand and what options are available to you? Or would you like to brainstorm about pensions with people of your age at a luncheon? Now’s your chance.

One-on-one pension chat: 7 and 8 November 2018, 10 am to 5 pm
Are you curious to know what your pension will look like later? Or have events occurred in your life that will impact your pension? If so, then having a one-on-one chat with someone from the Pension Desk is just the thing for you. During a 30-minute chat we will look at your situation and answer your questions. Be sure to take your laptop and DigiD along to log on to the Pension Planner. Contact the Pension Desk to schedule a meeting on the locations Acanthus and De Entree, tel. 088 - 116 2405. But don’t wait too long because there is a limited number of slots available.

‘The future of you’ luncheon: 7 November 2018, noon to 1 pm
If you are under 40 then you can sign up for ‘The future of you’ luncheon in Amsterdam, location De Entree, from noon to 1 pm on 7 November. During the event you will be taken through the world of pensions by our pension ambassador Santhuruu Nadesapillai. He will tell you how he became interested in pensions as a young employee and about their importance. Together with colleagues of your own age you will learn more about the opportunities and challenges you face on your budget (or future budget) to be able to lead the life you envisage. What choices would you make and what role can your pension play in this? ING provides the lunch and beverages. There is room for 25 participants so don’t wait and sign up now by sending an email to bestuursbureau@ing.cdcpensioen.nl.

‘Insight into your pension’ workshop: 8 November 2018, 2 to 3.30 pm
If you are over 50 then you can participate in the ‘Insight into your pension’ workshop.

The workshop explains the pension you have built up at ING and puts you to work with the Pension Planner to help you gain an insight into your personal pension situation and the choices you have. After the workshop you will be able to answer three main questions: how much will I receive as my pension, will it be enough, and which pension choices can I make?

The workshop will take place in Amsterdam (Acanthus) from 2 to 3.30 pm on Thursday 8 November. Take your laptop and DigiD along. Don’t wait to sign up because the number of participants in limited to 12. To do so send an email to bestuursbureau@ing.cdcpensioen.nl. If Amsterdam is too far for you, be sure to let us know. If there is sufficient interest we will consider organising another workshop on site. Or get started with the Pension Planner on your own.

The 2018 Pension3Days event is an initiative of Money Wise. Parties participating in the event include the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), the Dutch Association of Insurers, the Dutch association of independent insurance advisers (Adfiz), the Federation of Dutch Pension Funds (Pensioenfederatie), the Dutch central bank (De Nederlandsche Bank), pension funds and insurers, various banks, educational institutions, pension consultants and many employers.
