On 30 April 2020, Ivo Slikkerveer was appointed to the managing board of ING CDC Pensioenfonds. As a board member, he represents the trade union 'De Unie'. Ivo’s areas of focus are pension, communications & governance and finance & risk. He is also a member of the fund’s complaints and disputes committee.
What professional experience does Ivo bring to the board?
In 1990 Ivo started at NN as in-house legal counsel, a job that taught him a lot about pensions. After that he worked for a number of intermediaries and a pension consultancy. In 2006 Ivo joined trade union De Unie, through which he’s been a board member at 15 different pension funds. He is also a member of the pensions working group at trade union Vakcentrale VCP, which keeps him in close touch with national pension developments.
Pension is an important employment condition.
