On 2 April 2019, Ingmar Minderhoud was appointed a new member of the managing board of ING CDC Pensioenfonds and NN CDC Pensioenfonds. Ingmar’s areas of focus are finance and risk.
Ingmar Minderhoud has been working at NNIP since 2015, where he is involved in fiduciary management for pension funds. Until 1 December 2018, he was a member of NN CDC Pensioenfonds’ accountability board. He was also a member of the NNIP Works Council.
Experience
Ingmar has been working in the pension sector for over eight years and has experience in the field of ALM, risk management and investments. He studied Econometrics at the University of Tilburg and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Management of financial affairs
Ingmar’s areas of focus include managing the pension fund’s financial affairs. Not only ensuring the balance sheet shows a healthy financial development, but also managing risks are among his tasks.
More autonomy
Ingmar feels that while prudent pension management should be one of the main goals to a board member, it is the participant’s own responsibility to determine whether his or her future pension benefits will be sufficient. One of the ways he wants to achieve this is by activating and increasing pension awareness among participants.
The ING CDC Pensioenfonds managing board wishes Ingmar all the best in his new position.
