Do you know how much pension you’ll get when you retire? Or when you can retire and what choices you can make? The Dutch national 3-day event ‘Pensioen3daagse’ on 3, 4 and 5 November is all about checking the state of your pension. So, how can you check your pension?
Below is a list of websites and an app that will help you check the state of your pension.
- Check your pension through your pension fund (or funds)
As an employee of ING, you are building up pension rights in ING CDC Pensioenfonds. In addition, you might previously have built up pension rights in Pensioenfonds ING. Check the websites and portals of these pension funds for more information on your pension.
- Check when your Dutch state pension (AOW) starts at: https://www.wijzeringeldzaken.nl/rekenhulpen/rekenhulp-aow-leeftijd/.
- For a complete view of all your pension rights, go to the government's website www.mijnpensioenoverzicht.nl. It provides a comprehensive summary of your pension plans and your Dutch state pension (AOW).
- Check what you can do to boost your pension at: https://www.wijzeringeldzaken.nl/Dit-kun-jij-doen-voor-jouw-pensioen/. Just answer a few simple questions and you’ll get a list of pension tips and action points based on your personal situation.
- Pensioenchecker: this new app that gives you insight into your Dutch state pension (AOW) and other pension plans, It will also show you how much pension you'll get in monthly amounts (net of tax), how the amounts will change if you decide to retire early and how much you’d gain by setting aside extra savings. The app was initiated by the pension sector and can be downloaded free of charge in the App Store and in Google Play.
Webinar ‘Close to retirement’
Will you be turning 67 in the next three years? If so, you’ll receive a personal invitation to take part in a webinar during the Pensioen3daagse. The webinar will explain how you can take your pension, what choices you can make and how the Dutch state pension plan (AOW) works. The webinar will be provided via a Teams meeting.
