Personal guidance would make our communications complete
More than 1,600 of ING’s employees, former employees and pensioners took part in the annual online customer satisfaction survey in late 2021. As well as requesting participants to give scores for their for trust in the pension fund and their satisfaction with our services, we measured their pension awareness and appreciation for our means of communication. See the results below.
“ING’s employees, former employees and pensioners trust the pension fund and its investment policies. They are also very much aware that it is their own responsibility to ensure they have enough income in retirement. These are good results. However, the scores do indicate that there is a need for more personal guidance. The level of knowledge of pensions among participants, their satisfaction with the pension fund and our customer services are not at levels we would like them to be. We are happy, though, with the high scores that were given for appreciation of the pension fund’s communications.”

In short notice, the pension fund will be hosting a webinar to explain the results of the survey. Of course, we will also set out what steps the pension fund is planning to take in order to improve its services. The survey participants who indicated that they would like to attend the webinar have received an invitation.
