Return on investment +6.6% and decreasing funding ratios

The financial results of the second quarter of 2019 are available. The total return on investment was +6.6%. The funding ratio was 108%, a decrease of 3% compared to the first quarter. The policy funding ratio was 114%, a decrease of 2% compared to the first quarter.

Over the past quarters, the value of the fund’s pension commitments (all current and future pension benefits payable by the pension plan) increased more than the value of its investments.
