Moving house within the Netherlands
If you intend to move house, you do not need to report your new address to ING CDC Pensioenfonds, as your new municipality will do so.
Your former adress
It may happen that mail from ING CDC Pensioenfonds continues to be sent to your former address, because some municipalities are slow in processing addresses. In that case, it is no use reporting your new address to ING CDC Pensioenfonds, as we are not allowed to process address changes. As long as the municipality uses your former address, ING CDC Pensioenfonds is required to send mail to that address.
Correspondence adress
If you want your mail to be sent to a different address than that used by your municipality, you must report this to ING CDC Pensioenfonds by letter or email. Remember to attach a copy of your identity card or passport.
Relocating in or to a foreign country
In the following situations, ING CDC Pensioenfonds will not automatically receive your new address:
- If you relocate to a foreign country.
- If you live abroad and relocate over there.
- If you move back to the Netherlands.
In these situations, you must report your new address to us. You can do this digitally via My Pension, or you can send us a letter or email with a copy of your personal identification document. You may also report a correspondence address in the Netherlands.
Pension abroad
Would you like to receive your pension benefits abroad? You will need a bank account number and your Dutch citizen service number (BSN). Your BSN can be found in your passport, or you can ask the Dutch tax authorities.
If you receive your pension from us outside the Netherlands, we will send you a life certificate (attestation de vita) every year. You will need to get this certificate signed by the local authorities. When it is signed and completed, you can send it to us, either by post or digitally via My Pension.
If you receive a Dutch state pension (AOW) from the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) and you have already sent your life certificate to the SVB, we will receive that information from the SVB automatically. You do not need to take any action.
Exemption statement
We are required by law to withhold Dutch social security contributions and taxes (wage tax) from your pension. As a result, your pension benefits are lower. In some cases, we do not need to do this, i.e. when agreements have been made to this effect between the Netherlands and the country you reside in. In that case, you might receive more pension. This is how you can arrange for that:
- Go to belastingdienst.nl.
- Open the section Application for exemption from wage tax.
- Fill out the form
- If you qualify, the Dutch tax authorities will send you an exemption statement.
- Send us a copy of the exemption statement and we will stop withholding wage taxes from your pension benefits.
Getting a divorce abroad
If you live in the Netherlands, your municipality will inform us of your divorce. However, if you live abroad, we are not informed. In that case, you must report your divorce to us via My Pension.
Passing away abroad
If you live in the Netherlands, your municipality will inform us of your passing away. However, if you live abroad, we are not informed. You surviving dependants will have to report this to us.
