Willem Steenhoven has been appointed as chairman of ING CDC Pensioenfonds with effect from 5 July 2024. He is succeeding André Hollenkamp.

The board of ING CDC Pensioenfonds is happy to announce that Willem Steenhoven has accepted the role of chairman. The succession is taking place at a time that the pension fund is preparing for the new pension system. This transition means the chairman will need to draw on a broad range of knowledge and experience. Willem has many years of board experience, including as CRO and board member of ING Nederland. Moreover, as a member of the fund's board with a focus on Asset & Liability Management and Finance & Risk, he acquired in-depth knowledge of the pension fund over in recent years.

Willem: “André has been chairman of the pension fund since it was founded in 2014, a role he always fulfilled with full dedication. The pension fund is doing well and I am honoured to take over this role from him. Together with the other board members, I am tremendously motivated to ensure our participants, current and former employees of ING, get a good pension.”

The appointment of Willem Steenhoven as chairman has been approved by the Dutch central bank.
