Last year, the Dutch Future of Pensions Act (Wet toekomst pensioenen) entered into force. This means the whole pension system in the Netherlands will be renewed.
Representatives of employers and employees of ING are already working hard to set up a new pension plan, and your pension fund is providing them with support in this process. We are doing this together, and there is still a lot of work to be done. That includes establishing how much risk you will allow your pension fund to take with the investments. And ensuring all details in our administration are in order before we transition from the current to the new pension plan. We will keep you well informed as we move forward this year.
