We will be applying the new pension rules. As a result, we may once a year increase your pension earlier than has been possible up to now. A condition is that we must be able to demonstrate that we are doing this responsibly.
The current rules for increasing pensions are strict, but they are going to change. We are allowed to anticipate these changes. However, we must be able to show that this does not disadvantage any groups of members, either now or in the future. We do that by creating a so-called ‘bridging plan’, which is assessed by De Nederlandsche Bank.
